ALLIANCE FRANÇAISE TO HOST ‘UNCOLONISED’ – ACCRA’S FIRST ‘VISUAL ART MUSIC CONCERT’
Alliance Francaise, Accra will on Saturday, 24th May, 2014 host the first ever Visual Art Music Concert- a musical and visual protest- dubbed UNCOLONISED
The concert will feature the Nigerian Afro-Fusion act Villy and The Xtreme Volumes. The abundantly energetic, thought-provoking and progressive music group-whose style of music, a fusion of traditional afro-beats, highlife, afro-folk/soul/rock with pointed and sharp themes about African issues and her politics- is largely influenced by the legendary icon Fela Anikulapo Kuti.

UNCOLONISED promises to be an evening of great excitement, expression of energy, confrontation and education geared to ignite the senses of the audience. It will feature original graphic art on stage to add visual punch to the music and its meaning.
Those who were at last year’s AccradotAlt organised Indie Fuse would readily recall the artistry of Villy and the Xtreme Volume band.
