THE WRITE EXPERIENCE- PROMOTING ENVIRONMENTAL AWARENESS THROUGH POETRY & MUSIC
Event house, Inkfluent in collaboration with Alliance Francaise d’Accra (La PailloteTakpekpe), are joining hands to
promote environmental awareness through poetry and music in an event dubbed ‘The Write Experience’.
The 2-and-half hour show will focus on environmental awareness with packaged poetry and graffiti serving as the vehicle of conveyance. The evening will also witness an intimate jazz music session featuring the Blood Drum Ensemble composed of saxophonist and composer, David Bindman;percussionist and pianist Royal Hartigan and bassist Wes Brown.The trio have performed, given workshops, and recorded throughout Asia, Africa, Europe, West Asia, and the Americas
Graffiti artists Trez & Baby and poets Efy& Julio Teko from Togo will join Ghana’s Apiorkor& Akosua Hanson, Duafe & AndyonAndy, Ozionn, Kwame Write & Namoji, Slim 1 & Wolali for captivating collaborative performances.
RasBomba, a former Artist-in-Residence at Vienna’s Kunsthalle Exnergasse will thrill audience with live reggae folk music whiles Afro-Gallonist,Attukwei,will exhibit his plastic art installations.
