AN EVENING WITH EVA
What do you expect when you encounter three (3) avant-gardes, who have not only earned their stripes on the young and flourishing spoken word and poetry scene but are a nucleus in the vigorous attempt to promote and shape the direction of the poetry scene on one stage?
Education, Empowerment and Excitement!
Formed a couple of months ago, EVA is made up of Edith Ndabi (Ms. Ndabi), Vanessa Dzyadzorm Medie (Dzaydzorm) and Ama Asantewa Diaka (Poetra Asantewa). EVA is an acronym of the first letter of their first names.
Tales of EVA, scheduled for 28th November, 2014 will be the maiden performance of this incredible trio since the formation of the group.
The three spoken word artistes have each established a remarkable reputation on the spoken word scene, thanks to their powerful performances and bravery in confronting issues considered taboo subjects.
Sex, Religion, Feminism, Violence (Domestic violence), Corruption and Love has often dominated their individual performances.
So, come November, 28th, patrons who will be present at Tales of Eva must brace themselves to be taken through a ride of treasured enchantment
