2025 EDITION OF PA GYA! A LITERARY FESTIVAL IN ACCRA (OPEN CALL)
About
Pa Gya! A Literary Festival in Accra is a three-day multi-event literary arts festival with activities such as book readings and launches, talks, performances, prize awards, theatre performances, exhibitions, a book market and many more.
The first edition of the festival was in 2017, and we mark the ninth consecutive edition this year. The dates are 17th to 19th October 2025.
Interested in Participating?
As usual, Pa Gya! would like to receive submissions from organizations, groups or individuals interested in participating in the festival. We welcome ideas, concepts and projects from the literary and cultural community in Ghana and beyond. We want collaborations for events, authors, and publishers. Our focus is on writing, books, reading, performance, workshops, and so on.
Proposals will be accepted on a rolling basis from Friday, 4th April till Friday 6th June 2025. Please email pagyafestival@gmail.com with your ideas, suggestions, and contributions.
We also invite collaborations and sponsorship, and we can be reached by the same email.
This call is also open to booksellers, publishers and literary organizations who may wish to take a stand to sell or showcase work during the festival.
