His name might not register on the minds of many Ghanaian music enthusiasts. But, Spacely, a Ghanaian based rapper is a big deal. His talent is incredible. A listen to his project would get you hooked.
His single, Bad, has received massive radio play in Ghana and Chicago. With a fun, happy go lucky persona, combined with his attention grabbing tunes and melodies, Spacely has the ability to convey the perspective of the modern youth.
In his third and Final release for the year 2016, Spacely, plays around with a horn laced production from Nxwrth. Ikechukwu is a fun, trap song with Afro beats undertones which tells a common story of African’s in the diaspora returning home.
The tune starts with a funny skit from the village aunts perspective & then jumps into the vibe of the returnee in the persona called Ikechukwu. The easily sing-along song features Darko Vibes and has hints of Nigerian slang, Ghanaian language Ga and pidgin.
