DJ Juls to release ‘Leap Of Faith’ LP on 8th May
DJ Juls has earned his stripes as one of the foremost producers to have helped shape and sell the new afro-pop sound to a global audience in recent times.
Judging by the many accolades chalked over the last few years by the British born Ghanaian producer, it is the perfect time to solidify his spot on the music scene by releasing a full length album.
Taking to twitter a few days ago, DJ Juls announced the release of his debut LP ‘Leap Of Faith’ on May 8, 2017.
With his minimalistic beat and love for sampling vintage highlife grooves, DJ Juls created a sound that has become a template for other producers in Ghana and Nigeria. His slick production on songs like Bankulize and Skin Tight helped chart a successful path for afro-pop artiste Mr. Eazi.
His singles- ‘Teef Teef’, ‘Give You Love’- earned him global notice. His latest single ‘Bad’ is enjoying massive notice thanks to its gripping dancehall tinged grooves and appealing melodies.
DJ Juls has, however released a few projects in the past including the Jungle Book Beat Tapes (Vol. I-III) and a couple of mixes (Afrobeats Mix, Summer CookOut Mix, The Brings Afro Mix, Cupid Shot Mix).
