Chaskele Open Mic is an art event organised by Imagine Village. The event focuses on Spoken word Poetry,Comedy, Painting, Rap, Acoustic Music and Magic.
The name “Chaskele” is used in relation to the Ghanaian game where a player is prevented by another player from throwing an object of play into the container. Deduced from this local game is the idea of “struggle”-the struggle for attention of Spoken Word and Poetry among the various art forms like music, drama and comedy.

The Chaskele Open Mic is slated for Saturday 26th of September, 2015 at Africa Hall JCR, 5:34pm. Its a free event.
