JAYSO TALKS DEBUT ALBUM ”JAYSO”
IT IS SUCH A surprise that rapper, producer, singer and songwriter, JAYSO still has no album to his name despite his long association with rap. But all is about to change in a matter of months.
Speaking to him at the sidelines of the Chalewote Art Festival last week, the Skillions Records boss disclosed that his self titled album ‘JaySo’- is ready though there are a few knots to tie. ‘The songs are ready. There are some that need to be mastered and once that is done, it will be released soon’.
He went on to say he wants the album to be out there in various shops before he even begins promoting it. “I want the albums to be in the shops so the fans would go get it once I start talking about it’
JaySO has released four singles off his debut album – Making Tasha Proud, Say You Love Me (feat. Haidara), Obaa Mu Ba Nei and recently 3nyom’No (feat. M.anifest), giving fans a sneak into how the album would sound.
The musical resume of JaySO is impressive. He has, as a producer master minded some of the biggest rap songs in the country for top musical acts such as Sarkodie, M.anifest, Efya, Dark Suburb, Scientific and also lend vocals to a couple of songs either rapping or singing.
